E. W. Stone, Sr. 1st Pattern Prototype Brass Knuckle Knife

This knife was made either on another USN ship in the Pacific Theater or in Australia by someone who had acquired a set of Dad’s 1st Pattern Prototype Brass Knuckles. Once they had the brass knuckles as a pattern then they cast it onto a blade. This blade is stamped at the ricasso T1177 which was used in WWII for identification purposes by the owner. I acquired this specimen in Australia. It is a serious knife and weighs about 3 pounds!
